Reporting Learner Progress Information

There will be three progress reports provided for parents/carers each year. These will be issued at the end of each assessment period.  

The Headteacher will have overview of all assessment reporting and will add a handwritten comment to each student’s report for the year, focusing on overall achievement, attendance and behaviour issues.  

Parents/carers will be issued with a reply slip and encouraged to comment on the reports.  

One Parents’/Carers’ Consultation Evening will take place annually for each Year Group involving interviews with subject teachers.   

Parental Workshops and other Information Evenings will be arranged as required to keep parents informed about strategies to support their children during the run up to key external examinations, eg GCSE Preparation Evenings, Options Evenings, Year 7 Settling in Evening.  

The dates of all Parental Consultation Evenings will be published on the school calendar each academic year.
