Year 11 GCSE Exam Timetable 2026
GCSE Results Day – Thursday 20th August 2026
School will be open from 09:00 – 11:00 for results to be collected. If a learner is unable to collect their results, we must have written consent from them in order for them to be collected on their behalf. The person collecting the results must provide photo identification.
Teaching staff will be available on the day if any help is needed with results.
Contingency Day
The awarding bodies have designated the following dates as ‘contingency days’ for examinations:
Wednesday 24 June 2026 (Contingency day in the event of national or significant local disruption to examinations in the United Kingdom)
Centres must therefore remind candidates that they must remain available for Wednesday 24 June 2026 should an awarding body need to invoke its contingency plan.
It is really important that ALL exam candidates are available until that day because if there are any changes to a scheduled exam day for any reason quoted above the candidates could miss out on an important grade.

Leavers 2026 – Collection of GCSE Results
The school must have permission from any Leaver 2026 by either verbal or written consent, before parents/carers or anyone named are able to collect GCSE results on their behalf. The person collecting will also need to provide identification.
All leavers must ensure that the information in their Statement of Results envelope is thoroughly checked upon collection. Look for the covering letter from Mr Russell and 2x consent forms – Access To Scripts (ATS) / Review Of Marking (ROM). It is important that both consent forms are signed and left with a member of staff before leaving on Results Day. In the event that we need to apply for an ATS/ROM we will contact you by telephone or email for further consent to allow us to make the necessary application.
Leavers 2026 – Collection of GCSE Certificates
Certificates are awarded to leavers at Presentation Evening. Leavers who are unable to attend may collect their certificates directly from school and must sign for receipt. If learners would like their GCSE certificates to be collected on their behalf after Presentation Evening, they must provide the school with written or verbal consent, naming the collector and ask them to provide identification when they sign for the certificates.
