Primary Transition

A very warm welcome to all parents, carers and families of our new Year 7 cohort for 2026/27.

We recognise that the transition from primary school to high school is a significant milestone – not just for your child, but for you as a family. It is a journey filled with a mix of excitement and trepidation and we want to reassure you that we are committed to making this transition as smooth and positive as possible. From the moment your child joins us in September, they become part of a community dedicated to supporting their wellbeing and cheering on their successes every step of the way.

Our school is much more than just a place to learn; it is a friendly, vibrant family. Our staff and learners are always ready to lend a helping hand and support your child as they navigate their way through a new chapter in their education. Whether they are worried about finding their way to the next lesson or want to learn more about the many enrichment clubs available, there will always be someone nearby to help them.

We will guide your child as they discover new subjects, make lifelong friends and strive to become ‘Ladybridge Rich’. We look forward to working in partnership with you to help them grow into the confident, capable and compassionate young people we know they can be.

Welcome to our school community – we’re so glad you’re joining our Ladybridge Family!
