Our Year 8 Trivium project kicked off with an exciting assembly this morning from producer and Ableton certified trainer Simon Lyon, as the cohort learned more about their combined Music & IT Trivium project, ‘Music for Games and Abstract Background’. Learners will choose a theme to create music using key musical elements and use Ableton software and Ableton Push to create their samples. These will then be used to create samples from code in Sonic Pi.
We’re starting to hear lots of creative samples in lessons, as learners embrace their Curiosity for the project! We’ve also been pleased to see lots of Teamwork and Kindness WISDOMS as learners support each other on the task.
