We are immensely proud of Chrispin in Year 10 who has been named as the High Sheriff of Greater Manchester Young Citizen of the Year 2025 for Bolton borough!

The Greater Manchester Young Citizen of the Year Awards were launched to provide a platform for outstanding young people who have done something exceptional and to celebrate kindness, thoughtfulness, bravery or actions that make a difference to our communities.

Chrispin was nominated by Be The Change Youth Project, for his dedication to the organisation, always willing to volunteer and actively engaging in planning activities, whilst setting a real example of youth leadership to others.

The awards were held at The Nest, Manchester and attended by the High Sheriff of Greater Manchester, Eamonn O’Neal OBE DL along with other dignitaries from across the country.

“I was really surprised when I was announced as a winner at the event, I wasn’t expecting it. I think it is amazing to have been nominated and then to go on and win. My family are really proud”.

Chrispin has displayed incredible agency and continues to demonstrate our school’s WISDOM qualities. Congratulations on your well-deserved recognition, Chrispin. We are very proud!
