Year 9 learners have been visiting Deane Church to explore Gothic structures. The trips provided a valuable real world experience for our learners whilst studying Gothic conventions and how to create a Gothic setting. During the visit, learners made lists of their experiences using the five senses and took photographs to capture details of the Gothic environment. This hands-on approach allowed them to bring their classroom learning to life and served as inspiration for creating their own Gothic settings.
