Duke of Edinburgh Scheme

The Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award requires students to pass the following sections: skills, physical, volunteering and expedition. At Ladybridge, students in Year 10 can enrol and start the programme, choosing what they would like to do for each section and where they want to do their volunteering. Past choices have included: working in a primary school helping children with maths; studying for a First Aid certificate; learning a musical instrument; participating in sports; and working in a charity shop.

We currently have 68 students participating in this year’s Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme

Mrs F Hughes runs the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.
