LEAD PRACTITIONER IN MATHEMATICS

Leading Practitioners Range 4 (P4-P8) £44,435 to £49,048 per year

All teaching staff at Ladybridge have a generous allocation of non-contact time: typically 20%, which is double the legal minimum requirement.  This ensures that our staff have the time to carry out their role to the highest possible standard, whilst having a genuine work-life balance.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Lead Practitioner for Mathematics, to join an already strong team.  Successful candidates will have a desire to both learn and to lead. 

The successful candidates will be expected to:

* work collaboratively with the Learning Director to set a clear strategic direction and vision for teaching and learning;

* lead and manage people effectively and help them to feel enthused about teaching Mathematics;

* be organised and able to make things happen;

* lead training to further improve teaching and learning;

* lead by example as both a teacher and leader.

We are also seeking to appoint, on a permanent basis, an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Assistant Learning Director in Mathematics, required from 1st September 2020.  We intend to interview for both positions on the same day.
