LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT

Grade 4 SCP 17-21, TA2 with SEN Allowance
30 hours per week, term time only.  Actual Salary £13,370 to £14,623 per year
Required as soon as possible.  Fixed term contract to 31st August 2019

We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant (Teaching Assistant Level 2) to provide support for learners across the curriculum so that they secure swift progress.

We are looking for an exceptional colleague with:

* The ability to work effectively within a team environment
* A general understanding of the curriculum and of classroom roles and responsibilities
* A passion for ensuring that each and every child flourishes and feels proud of his/her individual achievements
* High expectations of all pupils and a commitment to raising their educational achievements
* The ability to build and maintain successful relationships with pupils, to treat them consistently with respect and consideration and demonstrate concern for the development as learners
* Strong inter-personal skills and emotional intelligence
* Teaching Assistant Level 2 qualification
* Previous experience in a similar role in a primary or secondary school.

The post-holder will also be responsible for communicating the work set by teachers to the students and for the supervision of classes during the short-term absence of the teacher.
