The Ladybridge High School uniform is as follows
Black Blazer with badge Year 7 to 11.
Black Jumper with badge compulsory for Year 7. Optional for Years 8 – 11.
Black Trousers/Skirts – Skirts should be of a modest length. Short skirts with knee length black/white socks are not appropriate.
Traditional white school shirt – which must be tucked in neatly and the top button fastened.
School Tie KS3 (Lower School) KS4 (Upper School) in house colours. Tyldesley – Red, Lowry – Blue, King – Green, McArthur – Yellow. The school ties should be knotted properly, so that the school badge is visible just below the knot
Shoes must be black only, without logos/flashes/tabs/different coloured trimmings. Trainers and trainer styled shoes and pumps are not acceptable under any circumstances.
Girls - plain, opaque black tights or black/white ankle socks. Coloured or patterned socks or tights are not acceptable under any circumstances.
Make-up, nail varnish must not be worn.
Jewellery, apart from a wristwatch, is not allowed for health and safety reasons under any circumstances.
Piercings of any type must be removed for school without exception.
In the interest of personal safety, many parents like their child to carry a mobile phone. However, if your child has a mobile phone it must be kept switched off and in the school bag at all times.
No headphones are allowed in school.
All students must have a proper school bag, a full set of writing equipment with spare pens and their Peak Performance Manual.
