SWIMMING INSTRUCTORS (casual)
Daytime, evenings and weekends

Required as soon as possible
Grade 6 SCP 25-29 (£11.74 to £13.45 per hour)

We are looking to appoint some Swimming Instructors to help deliver fun and creative classes for children of all ages particularly for primary school groups during the school day and for the community on weekday evenings and at weekends.

Previous experience of working with young people is essential and additional experience of teaching adults, disability groups or parent and child would be an advantage as there may be further opportunities as the programme develops.

We are looking for exceptional candidates with;

• An outgoing and pleasant manner
• A sound knowledge of the Learn to Swim framework
• The ability to work effectively within a team environment
• The ability to teach children at all levels
• A passion for ensuring that every child flourishes and feels proud of his/her individual achievements
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Requirements for this position are:

• Level 1 or Level 2 Swimming Teacher Qualification
(Please note L2 is preferred as L1 is only suitable for a limited number of sessions)
• National Pool Lifeguard Qualification
• A current First Aid Certificate
• Awareness of Health & Safety practices.
