Welcome to Ladybridge high school
Ladybridge first opened its doors in September 2004 and it continues to grow from strength to strength.
When you walk into Ladybridge, you will notice the strong sense of community spirit and community pride. Relationships here are very good and we take the time to invest properly in our young people so that they have the best possible springboard into adult life and the brightest possible future.
The school is oversubscribed and its reputation in the community is good. Attendance at the school is exceptionally good, emblematic of the fact that our young people enjoy coming to school every day and working with us. We are committed to providing the best possible learning and teaching and making sure that we celebrate all talents, skills and qualities. Above all, Ladybridge High School is a ‘no excuses’ school. We expect the very best from our learners in terms of their academic performance, their personal, learning and thinking skills and their contribution to the school and our wider community.
Our statement of intent is ‘deep leadership for deep learning, deep experience and deep support through quality relationships’ We want all our young people to have really broad learning opportunities and to feel confident in all that they do. Our ‘University of the First Age’ work is cutting edge with a wide range of extra curricular opportunities/activities.
Ladybridge’s specialism is sport and our ethos is about teamwork, resilience, reflection and achieving our ‘personal best’ at all times.
