Our focus at Ladybridge is to educate all of our learners to the highest standards to be the best they can be and to support them in becoming confident individuals and successful learners.

We are determined that, regardless of disadvantage, all our learners will:

  • taste success, developing self-belief and agency;
  • develop the knowledge, wisdom and qualities to thrive in life;
  • become good citizens.

Frequently Asked Questions

How to Apply?
Please click on the button below to make an application for help with free school meals and school uniform:

Why to Apply for Free School Meals?
By registering your child/children, as well as receiving free school meals, the school also receives additional funding that will be used to help your child/children to achieve the best possible progress.

My Child/Children do not use the school canteen, should I still apply?
Yes. Your child/children will be able to access other support across the curriculum.

My Child/Children do not meet the criteria for Pupil Premium; will we still be able to access support?
We are committed to monitoring the progress of all our learners so, whether learners meet the criteria or not, no learner will ever be left to fall behind; they will receive additional support to improve their performance.

What is the Pupil Premium?

The Pupil Premium is funding that the school receives for learners who are either:

  • in receipt of Free School Meals (FSM);
  • have previously been registered for FSM at any point in the last six years (Ever6);
  • have been looked after for one day or more or have left care under either a special guardianship or residence order (LAC);
  • known to have been adopted;
  • have a parent who is serving in the armed forces.

Ladybridge High School is determined to make sure that this money is spent on the designated children to best support their future progress. In order to do so, we provide support in four different areas.

The Wellbeing Team has been setup to encourage learners to take care of their physical and mental wellbeing.
